Is any of this true?
No. The Gujrat Taste publishes satire. The stories are invented, the people in them are invented, and the quotes were written by us at a desk with a plate of fafda on it. If something here matches real life, real life copied us.
Why does it look like news?
Because that is the joke. To keep it an honest joke, every story is marked Satire at the top and again at the bottom, and this notice sits in the footer of every page.
House rules
- We laugh at habits, not at communities. Uncles, queues and WhatsApp groups are fair game.
- We do not write about private individuals, and we do not make things up about real people.
- We do not publish anything meant to be mistaken for a real announcement, warning or result.
